The Associate role will the joining the Project Finance team of a leading Corporate Bank in London.

The Associate will be supporting the team in origination, execution of debt financing transactions of EMEA Energy & Infrastructure transactions.

The successful candidate for the position will have a background in Project Finance or Infrastructure Finance for another Corporate or Investment Bank here in London. The successful candidate for the position could come from an origination/execution function however they are also open to strong candidates coming from credit or portfolio management who are the skills to transition into a front office role.

 

 

 

The position will include:

  • Supporting all origination and marking efforts
  • Full execution of arranging new project finance deals supporting more senior members of the deal team
  • Interact with clients, deal participants and advisers where required
  • The preparation of credit papers
  • Wider ad hoc duties

 

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience within Project Finance or Infrastructure Finance, this could come from origination, execution, credit or portfolio management within EMEA
  • A strong knowledge of credit
  • A good knowledge of financial modelling
  • Strong academics with preference for Economics or a STEM degree
  • A second European language would be preferred but not essential
