ESG Analyst Responsibilities
- Build relationships with the management teams of the portfolio companies to support the improvement of ESG/sustainability practices.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of the portfolio companies ESG improvement plans and drive value change across the portfolio. This includes but is not limited to ESG onboarding, bi-annual assessment and ad-hoc support.
- Support investment teams with ESG due diligence. including but not limited to the use of the internal ESG bespoke tool and the completion of materiality assessment.
- Manage the ESG reporting process, overseeing data collection, quality assessment, data management, outputs and insights on key ESG metrics and targets across all fund strategies.
- Develop new reporting templates and optimise user experience.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of tools, platforms, and reports to ensure actionable ESG data is available to investment professionals across the firm.
- You can undertake continual analysis of competitors to assess ESG positioning whilst identifying best practice
- Also, able to perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time
As a ESG Analyst, you will have:
- 1-2 years’ relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Lastly, you will need to have excellent analytical and communication skills
