Infrastructure Credit Associate, $50B+ AUM Fund, Private Equity

A Leading Infrastructure Fund with $50+ billion AUM is currently seeking an Infrastructure Credit Associate to join their team based in New York.

Overview

The role is to support the wider acquisitions team in a wide variety of tasks, related to the origination and execution of infrastructure investments. The Associate will be required to undertake significant numerical analysis, valuation, and financial modelling. You will also input investment-related internal and external reports and presentations.

You will be expected to liaise with investors, vendors, banks, lawyers, finance managers, general managers, insurance and technical advisors. Likewise you will gain exposure to a wide range of infrastructure verticals.

Infrastructure Credit Associate role requirements:

• Active involvement in the analysis, structuring and execution of deals with a particular angle on asset evaluation and business modelling
• Deal origination: research and recommendations on specific markets or opportunities and identification of key risks and mitigants of investment opportunities
• Preparation and/or review of operational and financial models, and the preparation of Investment Committee presentations
• Support in raising debt and equity funding for new investment opportunities and portfolio companies

Qualifications:

• Outstanding academic background at an internationally recognised top-tier university.
• Experience at a leading infrastructure equity or debt fund alongside investment banking M&A or leverage finance experience.
• Great analytical and technical skills
• Strong passion in private equity and credit investing, specifically in the infrastructure space
• Entrepreneurial mindset
