M&A Associate/Senior Associate – Generalist

Pearse Partners have partnered with an Independent Investment Bank who are assisting with hiring within their Generalist team. The team offers cross-border M&A advice for mid-cap transactions and are looking for a strong German speaking Associate to execute deals within their London office. This is a growth hire for the team due to the strong deal flow coming into 2023.

Role and Responsibilities

• You will execute/lead work on M&A and other Corporate Finance transactions
• Create and structure investment memoranda and marketing materials
• Build and evaluate financial models
• Leading client and investor communication/Business Development on your projects
• Coaching and mentoring of juniors and interns

Skills and Experience

• 3-7 years’ experience in investment banking/ Corporate Finance/ M&A
• Native level of German
• In-depth knowledge of valuation, accounting, financial instruments, and M&A concepts
• Excellent grasp of complex financial modelling concepts
