Europe Private Equity Product Specialist in Asset Management



Are you a seasoned fundraising professional with a strong track record in the Private Equity industry?


Our Investor Relations Recruitment team at Pearse Partners are working on an exclusive opportunity within an esteemed global alternative asset manager. With in excess of $750 billion USD of assets under management, they are a leading player across private equity, real estate, infrastructure, renewable power, and credit.


As they continue their trajectory of growth, they are introducing a new and crucial role within their Private Capital Advisory (PCA) team – the Europe Private Equity Product Specialist. This position is at the forefront of fundraising efforts, responsible for building and nurturing relationships with institutional investors and enhancing the brand for their Private Equity funds.


An ideal background would be a combination of Private Capital Advisory from a placement agent or other PFG combined with some buy-side Investor Relations experience, however similar experience would be considered. Previous experience working in distribution/sales to LPs/Investors is also essential.


As a Private Equity Product Specialist, your role will include: 

  • Initiate new relationships with institutional investors to allocate funds to Private Equity strategies.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on all aspects of Private Equity funds.
  • Collaborate with the existing Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) to build business plans and directly engage with relevant investors.
  • Lead or participate in fundraising initiatives, partnering with CRMs, the investment team, and other stakeholders.
  • Support the campaign management team in developing marketing and due diligence materials.
  • Partner with CRMs and the business group for client servicing and capital call notices.
  • Play an active role in researching, proposing, and implementing new product ideas and investor channels for product distribution.



  • 10+ years of fundraising experience within the Private Equity industry.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with investors.
  • Strong relationship skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to develop and operationalise strategy.
  • Natural problem solver with the capacity to simplify technical concepts for clients.
