Location: London or Paris – The firm are looking to hire a Sustainability Associate in either country

Pearse Partners are being retained to recruit a newly created Sustainability Associate position within an established and highly integrated ESG team for a leading PE fund. Covering the European portfolio and investments, this will focus on responsible investment, portfolio engagement and to continue the firm’s developing ESG agenda.

As a Sustainability Associate, you must have the following attributes:

• Native/professionally fluent English
• Another European language is desirable
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• 5 – 7 year’s experience within sustainability either from a consultancy or within private equity
• Experience with ESG DD
• Strong knowledge of global and European Sustainability trends
• Exceptional analytical and oral communication skills
• Willingness to travel regularly
• Strong analytical skills
• Keen interest in the developing ESG market
