Our leading ESG Recruitment team at Pearse Partners are working with a renowned sustainable investment bank. The bank are seeking a VP to join their Sustainability Risk EMEA team. This role will be an integral plater in supporting the implementation of the group EMEA ESG strategy.
- Be the primary subject matter on EMEA Sustainability topics
- Support the head of sustainability risk.
- Develop, manage and implement the sustainability risk framework and develop the tools, polices and processes for effective risk management.
- Integrate the consideration of sustainability risk across the business.
You must have:
- A balance of skills and experience from across risk management, data analysis and sustainability.
- Familiarity with the development and implementation of sustainability and climate risk and/or risk management solutions within financial services.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory developments impacting sustainability risk and/or financial institutions, across EMEA with particular focus on the UK and EU.
- Knowledgeable about sustainability disclosure frameworks and ratings agencies frameworks (such as the GHG Protocol Standards, SASB, GRI, CDP, SCR etc.) and data sources (such as Sustainalytics, MSCI)
