Our Process
01. The Challenge
A high volume of CVs can create the appearance of progress while placing a significant burden on the investment team. The real cost is not only reviewing unsuitable CVs. It is the time spent interviewing candidates who were never realistically going to get the job.
02. Our Approach
Before presenting a candidate, we assess their relevant deal and sector experience, technical credibility, communication skills and commercial judgement, supported by references from our network. We also test their motivation and understanding of the opportunity, strategy and team, alongside their likelihood of completing the process and accepting an offer.
03. The Outcome
The result is a more tightly calibrated shortlist, with fewer speculative CVs and better-prepared candidates. This makes first-round interviews more valuable, improves conversion through technical assessments and reduces time spent on candidates who are unlikely to be hired.
04. Interviewing with Intent
Our role is not to generate the highest possible number of interviews. It is to ensure that every interview has a credible chance of resulting in a hire.
