Director Infrastructure Credit

Our client is a top-tier global infrastructure investment fund with a multi-billion-dollar AUM platform investing across the capital structure in core, core-plus, and value-add infrastructure assets. The team is expanding its North American Infrastructure Credit business and is seeking a Director to play a key role in underwriting, executing, and managing credit investments across the energy, digital, transport, social, and environmental infrastructure sectors.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evaluation, structuring, and execution of private credit investments across the infrastructure space, including senior, mezzanine, and structured debt opportunities.
  • Oversee financial modelling, due diligence, and credit analysis across both new and existing investments.
  • Prepare and present investment committee materials, articulating key risk and return considerations.
  • Manage transaction processes end-to-end, including coordinating external advisors and internal stakeholders.
  • Support ongoing portfolio management activities, including monitoring performance, covenant compliance, and valuation updates.
  • Contribute to the development of sector views, origination strategies, and thematic investment approaches.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering analytical and professional growth.

 

Key Requirements:

  • 6–10 years of experience in infrastructure finance, private credit, or leveraged finance, ideally from a top-tier bank, infrastructure fund, or institutional investor.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk, capital structures, and infrastructure asset dynamics.
  • Demonstrated experience leading deal execution and managing transaction workstreams.
  • Advanced financial modelling and valuation skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to articulate complex ideas to senior stakeholders.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and commercially minded individual with strong work ethic.
