Investment Associate, New York
A prominent Asian sovereign wealth fund is expanding its US footprint and looking to add a high-caliber Investment Associate to its New York team. With an asset class agnostic mandate and typical deal sizes north of $500M, this is a rare opportunity to work across a large, diversified portfolio at the intersection of asset management and institutional investing.
What You’ll Do
- Drive performance, operational improvements, and value creation across a high-quality portfolio
- Partner with senior stakeholders at the board and shareholder level to shape asset strategy and long-term business plans
- Support portfolio construction and capital allocation, including performance monitoring and optimization
- Contribute to acquisitions and divestments from underwriting and execution through to integration
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of M&A experience from an investment bank
- An asset management mindset where you think about how to make businesses better, not just how to price them
- Strong technical grounding in financial modeling, valuation, and portfolio analysis
- Comfort operating at both the asset level and across a broader portfolio, switching between detail and big picture
