We are partnering with a leading global investment bank seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join its Digital Infrastructure & TMT M&A team in New York. This is a high-impact opportunity to work on market-leading M&A transactions across data centres, fibre networks, telecom infrastructure, and broader digital infrastructure assets, supported by a strong and active deal pipeline across the US and Europe.
The platform offers exposure to both M&A advisory and capital advisory (debt and capital structure), working alongside senior bankers, private equity clients, and strategic buyers in a fast-paced, execution-focused environment.
About the Role
As an Investment Banking Associate (M&A), you will play a key role in executing transactions across the Digital Infrastructure and TMT sectors, including data centre M&A, telecom infrastructure deals, and fibre network transactions. You will work within a lean deal team, gaining significant responsibility and direct exposure to clients, investors, and senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions across Digital Infrastructure and TMT
- Build and review financial models, valuation analyses, and operating cases
- Prepare marketing materials, including CIMs, management presentations, and buyer outreach materials
- Manage due diligence processes, including coordination of data rooms and advisors
- Support client interaction, investor communication, and process management
- Work closely with management teams, private equity sponsors, and strategic buyers
- Contribute to capital advisory mandates, including debt structuring and financing processes
Requirements
- 2–5 years of Investment Banking experience
- Experience in M&A, TMT, Infrastructure, or Digital Infrastructure transactions preferred
- Strong financial modelling and valuation skills
- Proven experience working on live deals and lean deal teams
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with senior stakeholders
