Credit Analyst / Associate – CLO Investment Strategy
We are supporting the build-out of a new CLO (Collateralised Loan Obligation) investment strategy at an established and well-capitalised European credit asset manager, and we are seeking a Credit Analyst / Associate to join the team.
This is a rare opportunity to join a CLO platform at an early stage, working directly with senior investors on credit selection, portfolio construction, structured credit analysis, and ongoing portfolio monitoring.
If you have experience in leveraged loans, high yield bonds, private credit, or structured credit, this role offers strong exposure, responsibility, and long-term progression within a growing platform.
CLO Credit Analyst / Associate
As part of a lean and high-performing investment team, you will play a key role across the full credit lifecycle — from underwriting and investment committee preparation through to portfolio monitoring and risk assessment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct fundamental credit analysis across leveraged loans and high yield bonds
Build and maintain detailed financial models (cash flow modelling, leverage analysis, downside scenarios)
Prepare investment memoranda and support Investment Committee processes
Perform ongoing portfolio monitoring, including covenant analysis and issuer reviews
Support primary and secondary CLO investments
Assist with relative value analysis, spread analysis, and structured credit risk assessment
Analyse capital structures, documentation, and covenant packages
Contribute to portfolio construction decisions within the CLO vehicle
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a technically strong and commercially aware credit professional with experience in leveraged finance or structured credit markets.
Experience & Skills
3+ years’ experience in leveraged loans and/or high yield credit
Experience within:
Credit funds
CLO platforms
Private credit funds
Asset management firms
