Private Credit Analyst | Direct Lending | London
Pearse Partners has been mandated by a leading European private credit platform to hire an Analyst to join its London-based investment team.
The role offers exposure to Direct Lending, Hybrid Capital and Special Situations investments, with the opportunity to work on new deal execution, financial modelling, and portfolio management across a diverse credit platform.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Analyst with experience in Investment Banking, Leveraged Finance, or Private Credit looking to transition into a buyside private credit investment role.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain LBO models, credit models and financial analysis to support investment decisions
- Conduct downside analysis and scenario modelling for new credit investments
- Support deal execution, including due diligence, documentation review and preparation of investment committee materials
- Work across multiple strategies including Direct Lending, Tactical / Hybrid Capital and Special Situations
- Monitor portfolio company performance and support ongoing asset management initiatives
Candidate Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in Investment Banking (M&A), Leveraged Finance or Private Credit
- Strong financial modelling, LBO modelling and credit analysis skills
- Solid understanding of capital structures, debt instruments and transaction processes
- High attention to detail with strong commercial judgement
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced deal environment
