Private Credit Analyst (London or Frankfurt)
Pearse Partners has been mandated by a leading European private credit platform to hire an Analyst into its investment team, based in either London or Frankfurt.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing platform focused on direct lending, leveraged finance, and private credit investments across Europe. The role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle, including origination, execution, and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed credit analysis, financial modelling, and due diligence on new private credit investment opportunities
- Support transaction execution, including deal structuring, negotiation, and legal documentation review
- Prepare and present investment committee materials, including credit memos and risk assessments
- Monitor portfolio performance, identifying key trends, risks, and value drivers
- Assist with deal origination, including relationship management, pipeline tracking, and idea generation
- Engage with financial sponsors, management teams, and external advisors throughout the investment process
Requirements
- Fluency in German (required)
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, or private credit investing
- Strong financial modelling, credit analysis, and analytical skills
- Proven ability to assess credit risk and form independent investment views
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong academic background from a leading university
