Pearse Partners is currently working with a leading US Investment Bank seeking to hire an Associate within its Private Capital Advisory team, focused on LP-led secondaries advisory.

The team advises institutional investors, private equity firms and alternative asset managers on portfolio liquidity solutions, including LP portfolio sales, structured secondary transactions and fund restructurings. The role provides exposure to high-profile transactions across the global private markets ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of LP-led secondaries transactions, including portfolio sales and structured liquidity solutions for institutional investors
  • Prepare and review marketing materials, including teasers, information memoranda and investor presentations
  • Develop and maintain financial models and portfolio analysis to support transaction execution and investor diligence
  • Assist in managing the transaction process from launch through closing, coordinating with clients, buyers, legal advisors and internal teams
  • Conduct market research and investor mapping to identify potential buyers and support investor outreach
  • Manage data rooms and due diligence processes during live transactions
  • Prepare internal materials and analysis to support strategic advisory discussions with clients
  • Work closely with senior bankers and analysts across multiple live mandates in a fast-paced environment

Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, secondaries, transaction advisory or a related field
  • Experience within private capital advisory, secondaries or M&A is essential
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
  • Demonstrated interest in private markets and the secondaries ecosystem
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented, transaction-driven environment
