Vice President / Director / Junior Managing Director – Leveraged Finance (Frankfurt, Germany)
Pearse Partners is working with a leading global investment bank to hire a senior professional into its Leveraged Finance team in Frankfurt.
This is a high-impact, front-office role focused on the origination and execution of leveraged loans and high yield bond transactions across Europe. The team is at the centre of European sponsor-driven activity, offering strong deal flow and senior exposure.
This opportunity is well suited to an experienced investment banker with a background in leveraged finance, high yield bonds, and capital markets, looking to step into a broader and more senior platform with clear progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution and origination of leveraged finance transactions, including leveraged loans and high yield bond issuances
- Take ownership of the physical book on transactions, managing syndication and investor engagement
- Develop and maintain relationships with financial sponsors, corporates, and institutional investors
- Drive client coverage and idea generation across leveraged finance and capital markets opportunities
- Work closely with internal teams across M&A, DCM, and coverage to deliver integrated financing solutions
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to overall team growth
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Leveraged Finance, with strong exposure to high yield bonds and capital markets
- Proven track record within a leading investment bank, with significant execution and client-facing experience
- Ability to operate effectively at VP, Director, or Junior MD level
- Strong technical expertise combined with a commercial, client-oriented mindset
- Experience running the book on transactions is essential
